With the combination ticket Traunseetram you can take the Traunseetram from Vorchdorf or from Gmunden directly to the Grünberg cable car. The stop Gmunden-Seebahnhof is only a 5-minute walk from the valley station of the Grünberg cable car. Afterwards you can take the cable car up the Grünberg. You can enjoy a fantastic view of the Traunsee.

Once you have reached the top, you have a wide network of hiking trails at your disposal. In addition, the leisure facilities with tree top walk, summer toboggan run, adventure playground and low ropes course offer fun and adventure for young and old.

After you have arrived safely back in the valley with the cable car, you can still take the Traunseetram to the city center - because with your ticket you can use the Traunseetram all day.

Ascent and descent with the Grünberg cable car

Grünberg cable car: summer season open daily from mid-March to mid-November 2023. Cable car rides on the hour and half hour, every 15 minutes if needed.

Traunseetram: Travel comfortably with the Traunseetrsm. Here you can find the timetable.

Treetop walk Salzkammergut:: With a total length of 1,400 meters and a height of up to 21 meters, the treetop path winds through the forest at the summit of the Grünberg with numerous information and experience stations.

Summer toboggan run "Grünbergflitzer": Summer tobogganing fun for young and old. On a total length of 1.4 km you have the possibility to go downhill on fast curves and long straights and afterwards to be pulled up again comfortably with the lift. The ride takes about 10 minutes.

Hiking trails: The most beautiful hiking trails of the Salzkammergut - and all this only 10 minutes away from the beautiful Gmundner town center! The 20 km long hiking network with well-developed trails and fantastic viewpoints is well signposted and offers from easy routes to more challenging routes for pleasure hikers and mountain enthusiasts. Our tip: Hike to the Laudachsee.
