The waterfall at the south of lake Mondsee is a highlight in winter


You can park your car at the public beach, from where you can walk to the ice waterfall. After 15-20 minutes you will reach the waterfall. Sometimes in Winter it is frosted because of the shady location.

Accessibility / arrival

The Kreuzstein waterfall is located on the southern bank of the Mondsee. Parking spaces are available at the Landesbadeplatz.
