Accompanied by the herbalist from the Gmundnerberg, we collect seasonal wild herbs. We benefit from the valuable knowledge of our ancestors about the use of plant juices and powers. We process the herbal delicacies we find in the wild and romantic ruin garden. From fresh flower syrup and grandma's "Kräutl-Schmia" in spring to the "Kräuterbuschen zu Johannis" (herb bunches for St. John's Day) and individual incense mixtures made from herbs, resin and tinder sponge.

During the autumn tours, herbal expert Elisabeth Strauß passes on her comprehensive and valuable knowledge about herbal plants in her magnificent herb garden on the Gmundnerberg and in the wild in a particularly vivid way. Her passion for every herb plant, but also for nature itself, is so infectious that "no weed can grow against it".
