The famous pile dwelling settlements on the shores of Lake Attersee and Lake Mondsee are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Two information pavilions were set up on Lake Attersee – ideal spots for plunging into the pile dwelling culture.

By Car:
From Salzburg via A1 highway - Exit 242 St. Georgen im Attergau – turn left in direction to Lake Attersee
From Wien/Linz via A1 highway - Exit 242 St. Georgen im Attergau – turn left in direction to Lake Attersee
Coming from West - Bad Ischl - go throw Weißenbachtal (B 153) to Unterach (B 152) and follow throw Nußdorf to Attersee (B 151)

By Train:
From Salzburg as well as from Linz/Wien coming to Vöcklamarkt, follow by "Attergaubahn" local train to Village Attersee

By Plane:
Arrive in Salzburg or Vienna and take a car or take the train to come to Lake Attersee.
